A variety of mobile games are currently in soft launch from major developers, showcasing new titles across different genres. This list is organized by publisher, with updates reflecting ongoing changes in testing phases. Bit Odd has introduced its debut game, Bit Odd Field Day, a blend of MOBA and extraction shooter, now in early access in Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with plans for more regions. Blizzard's Overwatch Rush, a mobile-exclusive hero shooter set in the Overwatch universe, is in early development, having reportedly garnered over 10,000 downloads on iOS in the Philippines despite its testing phase. Century Games has launched Just Desserts, a narrative merge game, on Android in Australia, Canada, the Philippines, and the UK. Family Farm Merge combines merge mechanics with farm life aesthetics, currently in early testing across the UK, France, Canada, and Germany.
EA has soft launched Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved in the Philippines, UK, Malaysia, and Singapore, with announcements on broader rollouts forthcoming. Fingersoft's Hill Climb Racing 3 has introduced real-time multiplayer, now available on Google Play in the UK, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Garena’s Garena Free City, a GTA-like game, initially soft launched in Argentina and is now seeing downloads in the Philippines, Algeria, Egypt, and additional markets. Hoyoverse has opened pre-registration for Petit Planet, a cozy life simulation game, following several beta tests without a confirmed release date.
King and Mojang have soft launched Minecraft Blast as a puzzler in Malaysia and Canada on iOS, although it appears to have been temporarily removed from the store with reports indicating early-stage development. Capcom and Tencent’s Monster Hunter Outlanders is undergoing beta testing, targeting a worldwide release later this year. Pool City – 8 Ball has launched on Google Play in Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Mexico, and the Philippines, with an iOS version available in select markets. Miniclip’s Hoverboard Party, an arcade game inspired by Subway Surfers, features multiple mini-games and is currently in soft launch on Android and iOS in the UK, Italy, and Portugal. Pure Crime: Gangster Shooting, another venture from Miniclip, is testing in the UK and Philippines on both platforms. Paint Brawl, now rebranded to include Subway Surfers characters, is also attracting downloads in the UK and Philippines. Rival Nations, a multiplayer war game, has launched on Android in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and France. Moon Active’s Family Bay seems to be a sequel to Family Island, set to soft launch in India, Kazakhstan, and Poland.
Hole Stars: Puzzle Game, inspired by Voodoo’s Hole.io, is in soft launch on iOS in India, Philippines, USA, UK, and Turkey. Jelly Busters, featuring pixel art and skateboarding jelly cubes, is currently gaining traction on iOS and Android across several countries. Reality Bay, a merge 2 game with a film set theme, has soft launched on Google Play in India, Brazil, and the UK. Yarn It, available only in Israel, resembles Jelly Busters in style. Playrix is making waves with Aqua Match, its underwater match-3 game, available in 12 markets on both iOS and Android. Austin’s Odyssey, another ‘scapes game focused on humor, is live on Google Play in Australia, Canada, India, and the United States.
FamilyScapes is in soft launch on Android in the US, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, and India, leaning into family drama narratives. Match Around, merging match-3 and merge-2 mechanics, is generating downloads in India and Indonesia, also set for soft launch in Australia, Canada, and the US. Questbound, a squad battler with a fantasy theme, is live on Android in Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia, and the US. Roomscapes is also gaining downloads in several markets on Google Play. PlayStation Mobile’s Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is now playable in France and other regions like Denmark and the Philippines. Rovio has ventured into match-3 with Angry Birds Match World, currently available on iOS in the Philippines, UK, Australia, Canada, and Finland.
Angry Birds Rush is in early testing on iOS and Android in the US, and Bloom City Match has launched in multiple countries on both platforms. Sonic Blitz is attracting players in Brazil and the Philippines with its character-collecting format. Lastly, Supercell is preparing for the soft launch of Boat Game, a third-person looter-shooter, while Hay Day Match, a spin-off from the original Hay Day, is being developed by Playabit.
