Azur Lane Unveils Alliance Before the Hagiobull Event with New Shipgirls and More

Yostar Games has rolled out a significant update for Azur Lane, dubbed the Alliance Before the Hagiobull event. This exciting new chapter introduces seven Iron Blood shipgirls, including two Ultra Rare characters. Players can now dive into these new additions until June 11, 2026, as the game continues to expand its naval combat experience.

The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the arrival of seven new Iron Blood shipgirls. This roster features the Ultra Rare battleship Götz von Berlichingen and the Ultra Rare submarine U-2501, alongside other formidable additions like the SR heavy cruiser Prinz Moritz, Elite Destroyers Z15 and Z14, and the Super Rare Elbe META. Notably, Admiral Hipper also receives a new retrofit update, enhancing her capabilities in battle.

Players can participate in new event minigames, with Operation Vacation being a key attraction. This mini-game allows players to collect resources that can be exchanged for items in the event shop. Furthermore, a Special Login Campaign is in effect, providing daily bonuses to players, while newcomers will benefit from double Commander EXP and ship EXP from sorties. The Wishing Well feature also makes a return, enabling players to select two shipgirls from the permanent pool released before March 26, 2026, for a customized rate-up.

New themed skins are also making their debut, with nine new skins launched in the first phase alone. Among these, Götz von Berlichingen's L2D+ skin, Rapture Beneath the Blood Moon, stands out alongside Mogador's Diving for Desire, a rare dual-form skin featuring both L2D and Dynamic animations. Other notable skins include Treasure Behind the Water Curtain for U-2501, The Mermaid of the Emerald Sea for Amagi, The Genie's Game for Prinz Moritz, and Dancing Diver for Z15.

In addition to the minigames and skins, the update introduces a quality-of-life improvement with a custom loading screen feature. Now, players can set selected illustrations or comics as their personal loading screens through the Profile > Style option, adding a personal touch to their game experience.

Why it matters

Overall, the Alliance Before the Hagiobull event offers a fantastic opportunity for players to expand their character and skin collection. Fans of Azur Lane will undoubtedly appreciate the new skins, particularly U-2501's Treasure Behind the Water Curtain and Amagi's The Mermaid of the Emerald Sea.
