Pre-Orders Open for Esquie Nendoroid from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

GoodSmile, Sandfall Interactive, and Kepler Interactive have officially launched pre-orders for the Nendoroid of Esquie, a character from the turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Priced at ¥7,800, this collectible comes with a unique base featuring the game’s logo and a special background sheet exclusive to the U.S. The Nendoroid also includes optional parts like a François doll and a headband, allowing for some customization. Pre-orders remain open until July 1, 2026, with shipments scheduled for November 2026.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introduces players to a haunting narrative where the Paintress awakens annually to paint a number on her monolith, which ominously indicates the age at which those who reach it will fade away. The latest countdown signals the number 33, and the cast, known as Expedition 33, is on a critical mission to defeat the Paintress and thwart her control over death. Combat in the game is dynamic, featuring real-time dodging, parrying, and counter-attacking, along with the ability to free-aim at weak points and execute combo chains.

Why it matters

Character customization plays a significant role, enabling players to create unique heroes complete with personalized gear, stats, skills, and synergies. Furthermore, players can look forward to uncovering hidden quests and secret areas as they explore an expansive overworld map inspired by Belle Époque France. Locations such as the Ancient Sanctuary and Gestral Village await eager adventurers. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, boasting sales of eight million units to date.
