Flexion has unveiled Exprexion, a comprehensive service suite designed to help mobile game developers monetize outside the Apple and Google app store ecosystems. This platform integrates app store distribution, creator marketing, and direct sales, aiming to lessen developers' reliance on major platforms. Exprexion Markets will facilitate game distribution through alternative stores like Amazon, Samsung, and Huawei, potentially generating over 10% in additional revenue while simplifying operations. Additionally, Exprexion Creators will focus on influencer marketing to engage high-value players organically, while Exprexion Direct allows studios to sell directly to consumers, reclaiming margins lost to platform fees. Flexion's CEO, Jens Lauritzson, emphasizes that the industry has evolved, making it feasible for developers to establish their own distribution networks without the heavy overhead once associated with it.
