IGDA Portugal Launches to Empower Local Developers
The International Game Developers Association has officially launched IGDA Portugal to bolster the country’s growing game development scene. This new chapter will focus on advocacy, networking, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at connecting developers across Portugal and fostering career development. The first meetup is scheduled for May 15th at Gaming Hub Lisbon, with additional community events in Porto expected to be announced shortly. This launch coincides with the upcoming Pocket Gamer Connects Barcelona, set for June 15th to 16th, which will gather over 1,000 industry professionals for discussions on the future of gaming in Europe and beyond.
