Unity Reports Revenue Growth, Supersonic Sale Still on the Horizon

Unity is eyeing the sale of Supersonic while celebrating a 17% year-on-year revenue increase in its Q1 2026 earnings. The company highlighted the success of its Vector ad product, which saw an 80% revenue boost, and its new UnityAI tools, projecting profitability by Q4 2026. In a nod to the rising tide of AI in game development, Unity CEO Bromberg noted that 90% of developers are now leveraging AI, with newly released mobile apps up 60% year-over-year. Unity's engine boasts a 70% market share in mobile game creation, and despite a GAAP net loss of $347 million, adjusted EBITDA hit $138 million with a 27% margin. Overall, Unity's total revenue reached $508 million, with strategic adtech revenue at $279 million, up 49% YoY.
